About Me

I’m Alexa, a Graphic Designer studying abroad at Algonquin College in Canada, with a passion for digital art and illustration. I first started creating digital artworks in high school, when my parents gifted me my first drawing tablet for Christmas. My art journey began with designing original characters, as well as my favourite characters from video games and anime, and soon after I began selling commissions for my artworks online. This was when I decided to pursue a career as a creative, and committed to going to college for design, becoming a first generation college student in my family.

I have experience working with a variety of programs and tools, such as Clip Studio Paint, Paint Tool SAI, InDesign, Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and After Effects. During my studies I have gained expertise in typography, UI/UX design and motion graphics, and I hope to continue furthering my expertise beyond graduation.
